Circle Trade Area
Circles overlap each other: larger circle trade areas include aggregate data for the entire area from the subject property to their outermost edge, including the data for any smaller circles; i.e. the data is "double counted" where there is overlap.
Rings do not overlap: the smallest trade area selected is a circle, then each larger trade area is a ring around the next smallest one; the outer edge of the smaller trade area forms the inner edge of the ring. There is no "double counting" of data.
