The vacancy rate for Halifax office space climbed year over year to 16.91%, while almost 20% of office space downtown is now vacant. The warehouse market fared slightly better, with vacancy edging down to 13.76%, albeit at the expense of the net rental rate, which fell 0.38% between June 2016 and 2017.
