Charlottetown finished 2019 with an office vacancy rate of 7.11%, down slightly from 7.57% in 2018. Average net rental rates for office space in PEI’s capital rose 1.94% to $15.27/ft.². The overall warehouse vacancy rate in Greater Charlottetown increased 2.98 percentage points over 2018, rising to 6.23% in 2019. Average net rental rates also rose for warehouse space, ending 2019 at $9.45/ft.², an increase of 6.90% from 2018.
