Lasercad Division

Vice President - Mark B. Turner, B.Comm., AACI

Mark joined Turner Drake in 2000 after graduating with a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Saint Mary's University, Halifax. He was granted a Diploma in Urban Land Economics from the University of British Columbia in 2005 and is enrolled in the Bachelor of Business in Real Estate Degree. Mark gained accreditation with the Appraisal Institute of Canada in 2006.

Mark has extensive experience in our Counselling Division conducting market surveys and providing consulting advice. His work in our Valuation Division covered a wide range of property from lighthouses to multi-use investment projects, throughout the Atlantic Provinces.

Mark also has experience in our Property Tax Division and has successfully conducted assessment appeals in Ontario and Atlantic Canada.

Mark is Vice President of our Lasercad™ Space Measurement Division; the only such facility in Atlantic Canada governed by a quality management system registered to ISO 9001:2000. Under his guidance the Lasercad™ Division has provided space measurement services throughout the Maritime Provinces. These assignments have included apartment portfolios, office buildings, shopping malls, hotels, restaurants, industrial premises, and aircraft hangars.

Manager – Nigel G. Turner, B.Comm.

Nigel joined Turner Drake in 2002 after graduating with a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Saint Mary’s University, Halifax. He was granted a Diploma in Urban Land Economics from the University of British Columbia in 2007 and is enrolled in the Bachelor of Business in Real Estate Degree.

Nigel was heavily involved in the expansion and integration of our Compuval™ family of intelligent databases. He joined us initially to implement the launch of our photographic database. Since then, in concert with our programmer, he has implemented and tested several new databases, including our Market Survey database which captures information on office and warehouse space. He undertook much of the fieldwork for the initial Market Survey whilst working in our Counselling Division.

Nigel has undertaken assignments throughout the Maritimes for our Valuation Division. He has conducted assessment appeals throughout Atlantic Canada for our Property Tax Division and has been involved in many office, industrial and retail measurement assignments for our Lasercad™ Division.
