Vice President - Richard J. Escott, B.E.S., AACI
Rick joined Turner Drake in 1981 and has extensive property valuation experience in Atlantic Canada and Ontario. These assignments include hotels, shopping centres, office buildings, industrial properties, airport and marine port facilities, and apartment buildings, as well as rural real estate.
Rick was awarded a Bachelor of Environmental Studies degree from the University of Waterloo, Ontario in 1976. He gained accreditation (Urban Option) with the Appraisal Institute of Canada in 1985 and subsequently passed the Rural Option in 1988.
He is our Food Processing and Agricultural specialist and is well versed in food processing facilities (juice, meat packing, fish plants) as well as farms, poultry and hog operations, feedmills, fertiliser plants and woodlots.

Manager - Nigel G. Turner, B.Comm., AACI
Nigel joined Turner Drake in 2002 after graduating with a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Saint Mary's University, Halifax. He was granted a Diploma in Urban Land Economics from the University of British Columbia in 2007 and is enrolled in their Bachelor of Business in Real Estate Degree. Nigel gained accreditation with the Appraisal Institute of Canada in 2008.
Nigel was heavily involved in the expansion and integration of our Compuval™ family of intelligent databases. He joined us initially to implement the launch of our photographic database. Since then, in concert with our programmer, he has implemented and tested several new databases, including our Market Survey database which captures information on office and warehouse space. He undertook much of the fieldwork for the initial Market Survey whilst working in our Counselling Division.
Formerly Manager of our Lasercad™ Division, Nigel has extensive experience too in our Valuation and Property Tax Divisions and has undertaken counsulting assignments throughout Atlantic Canada on apartments, offices, industrial, retail, automotive, farms, etc. for property tax, insurance, financing, foreclosure, sale, purchase, capital gains tax and other purposes.
